St/by onlyIC1101 micro pin 6 should be high (power on command) but wasn't as chip not being reset. IC1104 resets IC1101 when its supply reaches 5v but didn't reach this level as zener D810 in the 5v reg cct was leaky

Reverts to st/by with rush of EHTHT correct - no line drive; removing prot tr Q451 revealed field collapse caused by D453 MA2270 zener diode - the cause of this fault was traced to flashover in crt
