AIWA	NSX-F959, NSX-F969, NSX-F960	Volume control does not work or is very unstable (for all rotary switch models).	Remove the faceplate and remove the volume rocker switch. disassemble it and clean all the grease with benzine. Clean the contact track with kaol, brasso or similar polish until the surface is shiny. apply a thin layer of silicone grease (don't overdo it!). tighten the contacts and reassemble the key. works in 99.9% of cases, be careful when disassembling/reassembling.
AIWA	NSX-F959, NSX-F969, NSX-F960	Display off	Replace the pr 107 fusistor on the front panel. This is another design flaw in this equipment, where the fusistor was undersized. If possible, replace it with a 1 amp, if you can't find it, put a 1Ω - 1 watt resistor.
AIWA	NSX-999, NSX 999-MK2, NSX 2200	Rotating CD tray stopping off center	On the CD board, at pin 12 of the connector, there is a capacitor (in most models it is 33 ?f). in parallel there is a 1k smd resistor (102). replace this resistor with a 1k5 one. Always remember to remove all old grease from the assembly and regrease and also change the drawer and tray belts.
AIWA	NSX-999, NSX 999-MK2, NSX 2200	Display fraco	C107 and c108 (side plate, close to the power supply capacitors).
