SONY	SL2410	No capstan servo	The capstan servo on these units would not lock up. thecustomer tracking control pot was found to be open. the servo freq. wasclose but not locked.
SONY	KV1981R	Shut down, replaced open q502 and shorted c553	No picture, then unit shuts off.
SONY	CDXA10	Car stereo service bulletin #73 (cdxa10 disc pack)	Disc pack can be safely and easily removed in 5 secs followingmy procedure rather than following s/b #73 (car stereo). use a flatobject (i use a straightened stainless steel clasp senior - made in japan.this clasp can be obtained at any stationery store

SONY	SL2000	Substitute pinch roller	When this new substitute part pinch roller x-3669-307-6 isinstalled, the adjustment of the pinch closing limitter (step 3-11 page3-11) cannot be made to fall within the spec. this will cause a veryintermittent jamming of the pinch roller.
