SONY	STP7J	Malfunctioning memory chip	This unit worked fine except it was not possible to enter astation into memory. all inputs to the memory appeared to be correct.replacing ic601 (cx761) resolved the problem.
SONY	ICF2001	Malfunctioning agc circuit	In fm mode, if there is a large bass sound, it is verydistorted. but if the rf carrier level is low, the bass sound is notdistorted.
SONY	CFSF11	Jammed deck	Head gear p/n 3-313-754-01 broke jamming deck. afterreplacing gear, and replacing ball's back under head table, in rwd orrev mode head table does not come up enough to lock in position. with nodisassembly instructions unit cannot be serviced successful
