SONY	CCDV8AFU	No video in camera mode	In camera mode no video. looked like no luminance sig, onlycolor. on me-1 board had signal on tp703 and tp706, but on the outputof ic701 pins 9 and 6 nothing was present. flexing board would causeproblem to clear up.

SONY	KX1901	No volume - low volume	The unit exhibited either no volume or low volume inter-mittently. we found the problem to be caused by q1201 on the k board.it was open.
SONY	CDP55	Occasionally skip at the end of disc	The unit would occasionally skip toward the end of the disc.when this occurred we noticed that the sled motor chattering. this wasdue to poor gear mesh between the worm and first gear.
